Hometown Hero

J & J would like to celebrate hometown hero, Corporal Jeremy J. DeLaurentis of Medford, New Jersey.

Current Assignment: Jeremy is with 1/10 Tango Battery. Jeremy
returned from his first tour in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in May and is stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. While serving in Iraq, Jeremy was combat meritoriously promoted to Corporal. Since his return, Jeremy has graduated from section chief school and is a combat marksmanship trainer.

Background: Jeremy graduated from Holy Cross High School in 2005. He received a certificate in welding from B.C.I.T. in 2007. He joined the Marine Corps in 2007 and was deployed in 2008.

Family: Jeremy has two brothers and a sister. He returns to his parents home in Medford whenever he is on leave to visit with family and friends.
