Success Story: Donna DeFrank

J & J Staffing would like to showcase Donna DeFrank, Executive Assistant to the President & COO, NFI Industries- Vineland Construction Company, as our final success story of 2009!

Success Story: Donna began at NFI when she accepted a three week temporary assignment working for the President of the Real Estate division in Cherry Hill. After several other short term positions with different NFI locations, a temp to hire position became available as an Executive Assistant to the President & COO of NFI’s Vineland Construction Company. Since Donna had done such an outstanding job for NFI in their other departments, she easily transitioned into this position. After only six weeks of working as a temporary for NFI, they hired her as a core employee.

What’s Next: Donna is looking forward to learning more about the many different divisions that make up NFI Industries.

Success Story: Margaret Ruffin

J&J would like to showcase Margaret Ruffin as our success story this week!

Position: Medical Assistant/Front Desk

Success Story: Margaret has been a Medical Assistant since 2004 and in January she was laid off. She came to J & J looking for a position where she could remain in her career path. By the end of January, Margaret accepted a Temp to Hire position with our customer Capital Health Systems-West Trenton Medical Associates in Ewing. After completing her first week of work they were looking to make Margaret a permanent employee. Here’s what our customer said about Margaret. “Margaret has excellent customer service skills. She always helps fellow employees when possible. A true team player.” Thanks to Margaret’s highly prized “good attitude and work ethic,” she has become a permanent employee as of August.

What’s Next: Margaret has found her “dream” job, and for now, is progressing and learning many new things. Front Desk Supervisor in the medical field would be the next logical career goal. With the anticipated growth of Capital Health Systems, Margaret is on the right career path for continued success.

Success Story: Deborah Chambers

We celebrate Deborah Chambers as J & J's success story of the week!

Position: Customer Service Representative-Triplefin

Success Story: Deborah came to J&J with a solid background as a Call Center Supervisor. She began at Triplefin on a temporary assignment in August 2008. After doing an outstanding job, they created a permanent position for her in April 2009. With Deborah's years of experience combined with her enthusiasm and professional demeanor, the sky is the limit.

What's Next: Deborah is looking forward to a long career filled with new challenges and growth.

Hometown Hero

This week, J & J Staffing is celebrating Corporal Ian C. Booth of Sicklerville, New Jersey as our local, hometown hero.

Current Assignment: Ian is with the 2/9 Weapons Company, Mobile Assault Platoon #3. Ian just returned from his first tour in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom last month and is currently stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC. While serving in Iraq, Ian was awarded the Navy and Marine Corp. Commendation Medal for his outstanding achievement.

Background: Ian graduated from Overbrook High School in 2002. After working in the construction field, he joined the Marine Corps in 2007 and was
deployed in 2008.

Family: Ian and his wife Christina have two daughters, Isabella and LilyAnne. Their home is currently in Jacksonville, NC.

Success Story: Lisa Briggs

This week, J & J would like to showcase the success story of Lisa Briggs!
Position: Analyst, Haines and Haines Insurance Co.

Success Story: Lisa came to Haines and Haines with several years of administrative experience in various work settings. She accepted a temporary assignment where much of her focus would be in working with QuickBooks to manage client accounts. She also handled travel arrangements for company personnel as well as assisted in facilitating marketing projects. She was hired as a core employee following completion of her assignment. Lisa is also currently continuing her education by pursuing a degree in business.

What’s Next: Lisa hopes to complete her education while successfully acclimating herself to her
responsibilities at Haines and Haines.
